Find the perfect dumbbells for you! dumbells are available in a wide variety of shapes, sizes, materials, and colors. Whether you're looking for rubber- or neoprene-coated aerobic dumbbells or pro-style solid steel urethane & quiet iron dumbells, you‘re sure to be wowed by our selection in weights, racks, and equipment.
The dumbbell is the most versatile piece of equipment in any gym. They can be used for virtually any exercise and in all three planes of motion. Adjustable Dumbbells allow you to alternate arms or work each side of your body independently.
While several machines have excellent uses, they operate not only in the sagittal plane but also in a fixed rate of motion. Stability, flexibility, and balance are rarely addressed during machine training, making it vital to add some dumbbell exercises into your routine.
Some of my favorites include alternate shoulder presses, walking and lateral lunges, and bicep curl punches. Bowflex Dumbells are a staple in all of my routines and the most underrated and misunderstood piece of fitness equipment. Compounds can be formed by stringing together various dumbbell exercises. This method of training can improve strength and power as well as strength levels. Some examples are a squat and shoulder press or a lunge and a biceps curl.
Every day it seems as if somebody’s got the perfect new plan for buff and healthy muscles. Lift as many weights as possible, lift as slowly as possible. Exercise five days a week—or just eight minutes a day. Whatever your workout routine is, the dumbell should be a part of it.
