LENEXA, Kan., Oct 11, 2005 (BUSINESS WIRE) -- Nitro Fitness, Core Training for Men is a new franchised exercise club for men that offers the typical job-and-family man a 30-minute, no-nonsense program.
Founders Larry Bedell and Chuck Rappe are the only franchisors in the men's fitness niche with actual fitness experience. Nitro targets men over age 30 with a 30-minute core circuit training program that provides men with one of the most effective ways to burn fat, lose inches from their waistlines and improve overall health, says Bedell. The program is designed for the time-starved adult males who are trying to re-introduce fitness into their lives and become functionally fit. Core training gives men the everyday fitness they need to start the lawn mower, carry a ladder, swing a golf club and play with their kids or grandkids.
Investors have found the Nitro Fitness clubs to be well designed, small facilities, often no more than 1,800 sq. ft. Members don't have to walk across "a stadium parking lot" and "can close their car door and be on the first piece of equipment in less than 30 seconds," according to Bedell. "They can get in, get out and get results."
Members have 24-hour access at Nitro Fitness and can exercise day or night, an attractive benefit for busy men. Membership is approximately $34 per month, depending on the market. Members work with "real" plate-loaded weight equipment, traffic stoplights indicating when to change stations, and a stainless steel, upscale-garage decor that is appealing, familiar and comfortable for men.
The Nitro franchise business was created by experienced businessmen with systems, solutions and services designed for franchise owners. Franchising opportunities are available for a total capital investment of $55,500 to $76,500. Liquid capital required is only $30,000.
